Collaborative Sharing of Libraries

(sometimes referred to as authenticated sharing)

This feature can only be accessed by a Revel Premium user. Premium users have the ability to create additional libraries, and the option to maintain them collaboratively with selected trusted users. It is used to allow multiple users to login to Revel and access a "shared" library. The premium user adds the other users to his/her sharing list and those users then will see the shared library when they login to their accounts. They can add and edit files, and remove files that they have added, but can not delete files that others have added.

To enable collaborative sharing,

ON the iPhone

click on the gear (settings) icon.  If you are in a library or album, then click the icon of 3 parallel lines to get to where you can select the gear.

In SETTINGS,  click the blue circle that is around the ">" symbil next to the name of the library that you want to share.

In the SHARING WITH  section, click on the "+" in the green circle to add a user. Just insert their email  (adobeID)  that they use for logging into Revel.  This will share the library with them and it will appear in their library list as a shared library when they login.
