Hi Jan (and John),
The Add-ons website is integrated into 12 different CC 2014 apps but how each Adobe integrates it is ultimately decided by the team. so for example, while we suggested to use "Browse Add-ons..." from the Window menu, it was up to the individual teams to implement what they chose. As John mentioned Browse Add-ons is in the Help menu and I think it makes sense for it to go there in the future but changing he URL for Browse filters online was a very quick and easy thing for the team to do in what was a very feature rich and busy release for the Photoshop team with the June 2014 release. It is however, miles better than where the Adobe Exchange panel was, which was somewhat hidden within the Window > Extensions submenu.
I like your idea about filtering by version but have you given any thought to how it might work? If not that's fine but I am just trying to figure out how best to implement it. Would it be a drop down menu like featured, price, newest and just add in CS6 and CC and CC 2014 etc? would love to get your ideas here.
Thanks for all the feedback and suggestions, they are great!
Jonathan
