Since the Graph tool has not received any changes in the last 15 to 18 years, I don't hold much hope for change. If you saved the file with PDF content enabled, you can try opening it in Acrobat and resave. There have been problems with the Cloud versions of AI and Graphs. That's just the way it is now. You will have to work around it.
