Adobe Cloud subscription finished - I own CS6 Master Suite - reinstalled Acrobat X Pro - Will not open - asks for subscription renewal. How do I get Acrobat opening again? Drop the free cloud membership?

I own CS6 Master Suite which includes Adobe Acrobat Pro X. I recently concluded a year on the Adobe Cloud subscription. I removed all the CC applications including Acrobat Pro XI. I reinstalled Acrobat X however everytime i attempt to launch it, a Creative Clod pop-up comes up asking me to renew my license. I should be able to use Acrobat X Pro (part of CS6 without doing anything more to my subscription. What do I need to do to re-enable this older program version?
