Does anyone have the same problem?
I work on a responsive project in Captivate 8. All slides have text-to-speech and closed captions. When I watch the project in Preview mode, it works fine.
Then I publish the project, and copy the publication files to an FTP-server.
When I run the program in a web browser, on a laptop, on a tablet and on a smartphone, I get mixed results.
On a laptop and on a smartphone the project runs fine, except that certain slides contain no audio and no closed captions - identical slides on both platforms. After these slides the project continues to run normally, as if nothing happened, until this happens again, a few slides later.
When I run the same project in a browser on a tablet, there is no audio and there are no closed captions at all - the project runs from one slide to the next without making a sound and without showing any closed captions.
This is an unworkable situation.
Does anyone encounter the same problems? Is there a known solution for this situation?
