The purpose of a keyboard shortcut is, in my opinion, to save time.
Using the left hand (to play shortcuts), with the right hand on the mouse, is a very good way!
I think everyone will agree!
So why limit, among other things, para styles access to RC as Cmd, Alt or Shift + keypad number?
No reason! So, if I've decided to apply a para style using "Ctrl-<". Nothing is stopping me! ... If not Adobe!
In any case, this is what it seems a priori (french)!
To fix it, I use QuicKeys: e.g., I play "Cmd-1" playing "Ctrl-<"! Very cool … and so easy to do!
