Hi, If one starts a new project from Powerpoint, an alert message states that choosing High Fidelity will import "all objects from the presentation including Smart Arts with animations." My guess is that Adobe added the High Fidelity function so that the imported presentation would function like the original PPT including clicking to advance. In past versions Captivate would not import that function, thus when one selected Click to Advance, Captivate would add click boxes to the slide, whereas now it would not need to. Of course, one would think if one chose High Fidelity, one would no longer be able to select Click to Advance but that is not the case.
All this is to say that if one selects High Fidelity, and the original PPT presentation was set to advance by clicking, then that is what it will do in Captivate regardless of the Captivate settings. This is the probable reason that the OP's presentation advances not matter where she clicks even though she has everything else set up properly in Captivate.
