No problem.  I'm sorry for being presumptuous and I stand corrected.  I also happen to use Windows 8(.1).

In the Photoshop application itself, please click the Help menu and choose System Info.  There you will find a [Copy] button.  Press it, then come to this forum page, open a reply, and paste the information in there.

I'm quite confident we can help you enjoy a more error-free Photoshop experience.
