Thanks for your response. I converted from PC to Mac about 10 years ago. I was sick of all the viruses (pun intented) on PC and all my other creative friends were using Mac. I made the switch and have been happy- not a single virus, barely any random crashes and good program support for the things I need. Now I find myself (as well as many others I have talked to) at a cross roads. It is time to upgrade and road is very confusing. Final Cut abandoned its pro users so I converted to Adobe. Now I am finding out many of their cool effects in PP aren't available in the Mac version. AND on top of that many users like yourself have had bad or underwhelming experiences with the new mac pro. Very confusing times.
