The defrag I ran was CCleaner. I've run it many times before without incident with CS2 and CS3. I installed CS6 very recently, not sure if I've run the defrag before with CS6 installed or not. I've had conflicts with Adobe Software in the past with CS2 and CS3, they seemed to get in each other's way, so I'm also wondering if there's some type of conflict with the Adobe software.
Operating on Windows Vista on a system that has CS2, CS3 and CS6 Creative Suite Web Premium installed on it. I opened the filed in CS3 and got the same problem but the .ai files still have the .ai extension.
What do you think?
