Yes, it happens with any source material that has this resolution and pixel aspect ratio. We have AJA Kona3 cards, however I don't see how that would make a difference. I'm able to reproduce the bug using a Macbook pro that has no such hardware extras.
One posible variable: As the original poster writes, the bug spans all OSX versions from 10.7.5 to 10.9.2. Which OSX version are you running? Maybe the bug mysteriously disappears in 10.9.4.
I've generated a minimalist PP project (CC2014) that reproduces the problem. I would like to send you that, just to be sure.
