I've tried deleting all slides from the timeline and the Master slides as well (except the Quiz ones that it won't let me delete).
I even tried inserting a new blank slide and recreated the text caption with the variable cpInfoCompany. All it does is display the word "company" but not the text I have stored in File | Project Info.
BUT I did have one new development. I tried clearing the text in the Company field in Preferences and re-entered it. That worked for that field! So I tried clearing out all the old text in File | Project Info and it seems to be working for the other fields as well. I think I've found my solution. Thanks Lilybiri for your help with this.
