Hi,
I'm using Acrobat 9 (Windows version) on a large file. I know that if I go to the Document menu and select 'Reduce File Size' I can make the file compatible with 'Acrobat 8 & later' - which as I understand anyone reading my file will need reader / Acrobat version 8.0 and above.
My question is, the large file that I'm using is compatible with version 5.0 and above (hence the large file size). If I use the 'Reduce File Size' command on external documents (making them compatible with version 8.0 and later) and then import them into my larger document (compatible with version 5.0 and later), would this cause any problems such as certian pages not being accessible - or indeed the whole document not being accessible if some pages are compatible with later versions of Acrobat?
Hope that makes sense.
Thanks,
Gary
