how can i fix jagged lines that i made while tracing and make them smooth without erasing my whole thing because it took a long time to do this.

i created a flip flop traced out in illustrator but lines that i made while tracing with pen tool came out jagged. How can i fix it without erasing the whole thing and starting all over because who wants to do that.
