What I would like to do is assemble my footage first in premiere, then take the sequence into AE to do color grading. The problem that I am running into is when I create a dynamic link, the footage is added to AE as a single layer. This is problematic because I typically grade each block of footage separately, instead AE treats the whole sequence as a single layer.
Is there anyway to have each block of footage on the timeline to be its own layer when I create a dynamic link with AE? For example below is the timeline for the footage, and there are several blocks of footage that make up the clip. I would like each block of footage to be its own layer when its linked in AE.
