Hopefully you won't shy away from the forums. They exist so we can all share and help one another out.
Before we go further, can I ask what exactly you mean when you say "split a video"?
My reason for asking is because generically, what we create with Captivate is referred to as a "video". So even if you have recorded in the typical "stop motion animation" style, in the end we call it a video. Then we also have the "Video demo" mode of recording where everything is recorded from beginning to end as a long single video clip. And if that weren't enough, there are video clips you may choose to insert into Captivate.
So the question here is to ask exactly what type of "video" you are hoping to split.
