Hi. I am a film student from Montana who uses the Adobe Creative Suite 5 kit on a Windows Desktop. Just recently, after my computer upgraded itself to Windows 8.1, both my Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects programs crashed. Every time I open both of them, two different pop-ups appear; the first stating: "LoadLibrary failed with error 87-the parameter is incorrect," then the second pop-up states: "Adobe Premiere Pro/After Effects could not find any capable video play modules. Please update your video display drivers and start again."
Ever since then, I've been having so much difficulty trying to fix it. I've tried everything by restarting my computer again and again, didn't work; I've researched it, nothing was helpful; I've taken it to Staples to get it fixed, the people there didn't know how to fix it; I tried doing a complete virus scan, didn't work; I uninstalled and re installed the two programs, the pop-ups are still there; and I purchased Adobe Creative Cloud as an upgrade, and the pop-ups appear on the upgrades, too!
I have no idea what to do about these pop-ups. How do I fix this problem?
