Peter your suggestion works well but I approached slightly different which is now bringing up another issue (which i'll start a new discussion for).
My current needs and approaches are:
1 - Need an electronic pricebook
- create individual INDD docs for each product. Include margins to compensate for 3 hole punch.
- make INDB doc to manage all the INDD docs
- TOC is calling on a style for content
- export with bookmarks + hyperlinks
CONS:
- layout has huge margins on right and left sides to compensate for a duplex 3 hole punch finish
2 - Need a printable version (2 sided / 3 hole punch)
- create new INDD doc (facing pages) with accommodations for a "centered" look when 3 hole punch.
- use the existing INDD docs from the electronic version
- create new INDB doc for the print layout pages
CONS:
- TOC does not reference the style anymore which is currently a linked file.
