Hi,
Can you please tell us which operating system you are running on and which version of elements you are using.
I am going to assume that you are running on Windows 8.1 64bit and using elements 12 for now.
The first screen you normally see has the two/three options for organizer and editors - that is the welcome screen.
I would like you to try and launch the organizer directly, avoiding the welcome screen.
Go to the desktop, and use the windows/file explorer to locate the following file.
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Elements 12 Organizer\PhotoshopElementsOrganizer.exe"
Double click on that file and see if it opens.
