Online video playback issues after upgrading from XP to 7 - Old Computer

Hello

I have an old computer (P4 2.8Ghz, 1.5GB RAM) that I hadn't used in a while, and decided to try windows 7 on it after upgrading the RAM. The computer seems to run windows really well, at least as far as necessity goes since this one will mostly be used for web browsing, but I noticed problems when trying to watch videos on youtube (worked fine on XP). The graphics card is an old Geforce FX 5200 (256mb), at first I had issues with the driver due to lack of support for windows 7, but that was fixed and it's now working correctly. Videos playing from the computer are also working as they should. no stuttering or sound issues, but on the internet they look slightly pixelated and stutter, sometimes skipping 2 seconds during playback and then going black with the "an error has ocurred" message, then automatically reloading the video. I've tried downgrading the flash version to 10 but it didn't change much, it's almost the same on IE, Firefox and Chrome, although on Firefox it seemed less pixelated after downgrading. I've also disabled hardware acceleration, increased the storage limit for youtube and cleared the cache and browsing data. None of this has worked so far (even the HTML5 video), so I'm back to the latest version. Does anyone know what else I could try to fix the issue?

Thanks
